ALEXANDER STEWART RELEASES NEW SINGLE “HIS PROBLEM INSTEAD” FOLLOWING HIS FIRST NO. 1 AT US DANCE RADIO
With over half a billion streams to his name, independent singer-songwriter Alexander Stewart releases his new single “his problem instead”. Throughout the anthemic track, Alexander sings about the relief of an ex moving on and relishes in the freedom of moving forward and finding closure.
“I wrote this song after seeing my ex move on with someone new,” Alexander shares. “At the time, I thought I’d feel sad or angry, but instead I felt relieved and was laughing at the whole situation because I had finally healed enough to see them for who they are, flaws and all.”
The new single comes after Alexander scored his first No. 1 on the US Dance charts with “Wrong Way” – his collaboration with the acclaimed DJ/producer duo Two Friends. He is currently on the road for his headlining Homecoming Tour across Canada, which includes his hometown show in Toronto on November 29th at Danforth Music Hall. The album has earned over 200 million global streams to date and also features “i wish you cheated,” which launched with a viral TikTok campaign that saw over 45 million views and led to Alexander’s late-night TV debut performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
