ALICIA KEYS “UNDERDOG (NICKY JAM & RAUW ALEJANDRO REMIX)” OUT NOW

ORIGINAL VERSION FEATURED ON CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, CHART-TOPPING ALBUM ‘ALICIA’ OUT NOW

15-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist and worldwide-celebrated music icon Alicia Keys has released an anthemic and special remix of her single “Underdog” featuring Latin music sensations Nicky Jam and Rauw Alejandro. Listen to “Underdog (Nicky Jam & Rauw Alejandro Remix)” here and view the animated video, directed by Marlon Villar, here.

The original version of “Underdog” is certified platinum, went #1 on the overall iTunes chart and became the most added song at Top 40 radio in the US upon its release. Keys wrote the original version with Ed Sheeran and co-produced with Johnny McDaid. “Underdog” is from Alicia’s seventh and latest studio album ALICIA. The album was met with critical praise upon its original release in September, featured as the highly coveted New York Times Critic’s Pick and with Variety calling it her best studio album yet, “pushing the limits of her voice and imagination,” and has received BET, MTV VMAs, and Soul Train Awards nominations.

The album has spawned an eclectic group of hit singles, including “Underdog,” showing the many sides of Keys as a person and an artist. Beyond the smash #1-charting “Underdog,” the album includes the soulful Khalid duet “So Done,” which went #1 at Adult R&B radio in the US, and “Show Me Love,” featuring Miguel. The latter earned Keys a record extending 12th number 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs airplay chart.

The album is a counterpart to Keys’ New York Times Best-selling book “More Myself: A Journey,” which was released in March 2020 as the first title on Oprah’s new imprint with Flatiron Books.
