BAD GYAL IGNITES THE DANCE FLOOR WITH NEW ELECTRONIC SINGLE “FUMA” AHEAD OF HER 2026 ALBUM

Spanish-Catalan singer – songwriter Bad Gyal sets the tone for her upcoming 2026 album with the release of “Fuma,” a dancehall-, electronic-, and guaracha-inspired single packed with energy, built for late nights and packed out dance floors. Arriving just days before her upcoming performance at Coca Cola Flow Fest, the track delivers a bold continuation of her evolving sound. “Fuma” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Following the Kompa-inspired “Última Noche” with Ozuna and the bachata-infused single “Da Me,” Bad Gyal continues to expand her sonic range with “Fuma”. Driven by a fast-paced, hypnotic beat, “Fuma” is a sleek club anthem that immediately commands movement—encouraging listeners to dance harder, feel bolder, and embrace the confidence that defines Bad Gyal’s world. Blending her signature electronic edge with the nostalgic pulse of the late 2000s, the track dives into themes of seduction and mystery, embodying the magnetic energy and nightlife spirit that continue to shape her artistry.
The music video, directed by Didi Domenech, who also directed the “Bota Niña” video (feat. Anitta), brings that intensity to life in an ultraviolet-lit club scene where Bad Gyal commands every flash, glance, and movement. Flashing strobes and a smoky, sensual atmosphere amplify the rhythm, creating a visual universe that feels unmistakably hers. Styled in standout designer pieces from brands like Dsquared2, Coperni and vintage pieces from Agent Provocateur, Chanel, and Fendi, she embodies the bold, fashion-forward edge that defines her persona. Each frame reinforces her presence as the centerpiece of the moment, commanding attention and setting the mood from start to finish.
Bad Gyal continues to establish herself as one of the most influential figures in music and fashion globally. The artist was recently recognized as one of the best-dressed at the CFDA Fashion Awards, where she dazzled in an exclusive design by LUAR, according to Vogue, WWD, and Grazia. Anticipation for her 2026 album began to grow in October, when she announced the project on the red carpet at Premios Juventud 2025. That night, she performed her solo track “Da Me” for the first time in Panama—her first solo release in over a year and a half—which will also be part of her upcoming album.
This week, the artist also starred on the new cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain, where she was recognized as Woman of the Year for her transformative impact on the industry and her international growth. Additionally, Bad Gyal made another high-profile appearance at GQ Men of the Year Spain, where she had been named GQ Spain’s Woman of the Year at last year’s ceremony, and took the stage to present an award to the legendary Daddy Yankee, reaffirming her presence at some of the most influential events in culture and entertainment.
Now, she turns her focus to her upcoming performance at the Coca Cola Flow Fest in Mexico City on Nov. 23, where she will bring her signature style to Mexican audiences alongside artists including J Balvin and Young Miko. Looking ahead, Bad Gyal will carry that energy into a new international tour showcasing her upcoming album. The tour will begin in March in Spain, with stops in cities including Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, and more. With her sights set on 2026, “Fuma” offers an early glimpse into the album’s eclectic direction and vibrant soundscape, signaling an exciting next chapter in Bad Gyal’s evolving musical journey.
