BAD GYAL RELEASES SECOND STUDIO ALBUM “MÁS CARA”, A BOLD STATEMENT OF IDENTITY AND SOUND

International singer-songwriter Bad Gyal unveils her highly anticipated second studio album, “Más Cara”, conceived as her “dream playlist” — a deeply personal project inspired by the music that shaped her earliest memories and continues to inform her evolution as an artist. Developed between Miami, Puerto Rico, Colombia and Spain, the album fuses reggaeton, R&B, dancehall, merengue house, Jamaican shatta, guaracha and Haitian kompa among others into a powerful, forward-thinking sound that feels both nostalgic and new. “Más Cara” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Entirely co-written by Bad Gyal, “Más Cara” reconnects her with the influences that first sparked her creative voice while expanding the scope of contemporary urban music with songs like “Un Coro y Ya :)”, “La Iniciativa” and the title track, “Más Cara,” among others. Executive produced by Cromo X, the project was crafted alongside a new generation of innovative producers such as Botlok, Jorge Milliano, Mazzarri, and Wicked Outside, alongside foundational figures of the genre such as Luny Tunes, Nely el Arma Secreta, Sky Rompiendo, Ovy On The Drums, and MAG. The result is a cohesive yet genre-fluid body of work that honors the foundations of urban music while pushing its sonic and aesthetic boundaries.

Across the album, Bad Gyal reclaims and reshapes traditionally male-dominated spaces within the genre, channeling confidence, pleasure and self-expression through a distinctly female perspective. The project moves between boldness and vulnerability, luxury and street culture, intimacy and spectacle, embracing the duality that has become central to her artistic identity.

“Más Cara” also features a dynamic lineup of collaborators, including 8Belial, Chencho Corleone, De La Rose, J Álvarez, Jadiel, Jenny “La Sexy Voz”, Maureen, Ozuna and Victor Mendivil bringing together established hitmakers and a new generation of voices shaping the future of urban music. Together, the collaborations expand the album’s sonic universe while reinforcing Bad Gyal’s ability to move fluidly across styles with clarity and intention.

Released alongside the album is the official music video for “Un Coro Y Ya :)”, premiering the same day as the project. Inspired by the sensuality of both the song and the artist herself, the video, directed by the acclaimed Daniel Sannwald, known for his work with top-tier female artists, and styled by Gadir Rajab, explores Bad Gyal’s power and sensuality as she drives the male protagonist into a distorted state of perception during a night of passion in Barcelona.

Bad Gyal continues her ascent with a practically sold-out tour across Spain, including an upcoming headlining performance at Primavera Sound. Earlier this week, she took the stage at the internationally recognized Premios Goya, performing in Catalan during her debut appearance. a defining moment that showcases both her artistic range and her deep ties to Barcelona. With “Más Cara”, Bad Gyal steps into this new chapter with clarity and conviction, reinforcing her position as one of the most dynamic and globally resonant voices in contemporary urban music.
