Following last months high-profile collaboration with Chicago upstart Chuckyy on “Ridin’ With That“, Central Texas star BAKJay has returned with “Fan Hoes” (feat. Fattmack) – out now alongside an accompanying video. This collaboration marks the southern duos third since they first linked up last year on BAK Jay‘s debut album Meet The ReapThe two young artists compliment each other well, trading off autotuned drenched verses lamenting the “Fan a** hoes” in their life (“can’t be mad at these fan a** hoes … they just wanna to take a picture”). This track follows earlier releases “Ain’t No Love” with BabyChiefDoIt & 1900Rugrat and  “Too Damn Lit“, a modern twist on the psychedelic sound of Atlanta’s “Futuristic Era”. These early singles are contining to push the 19-year-old’s steady rise through the North Texas scene, making BAK Jay one of the most refreshing new artists in the rap game.

After building buzz with an autotuned sound in the early 2020s, BAK Jay decided to turn off the effects and embrace the forceful flow that got the internet’s attention. A viral TikTok using his track “Reap” blew up after his friend paired the sound with a video of him cutting off his dreads, and from there, BAK Jay kept going.

No Fly Zone” found a new audience with its hard-hitting energy, and he began racking up millions of streams on singles like the Gucci Mane-sampling “Junkie Money” and his menacing collaboration with FBG Murda, “D To Da Murda.” His 2024 debut mixtape Meet The Reap continued the momentum, packed with quotables and fan favorites like “Backend,” “VIP,” and the chaotic freestyle “Next Gen”. Now in 2025, Jay returns with One Of A Kind, an EP that blends his signature fast-paced delivery with new melodic depth. From the quote-filled “Pop Shiii” to the introspective “Addicted To The Game,” the project shows BAK Jay leveling up in real time — with big features, viral singles, and a growing fanbase to back it.
