BEAR1BOSS SHARES NEW PROJECT SUPER BOSS!

Bear1Boss, a prolific mainstay of Atlanta’s bustling underground scene, has just released his new mixtape SUPER BOSS!. Bear1Boss is a long-time standout in his native scene on account of his ferocious output and out-of-the-box approach to his unique fusion of “plugg” and colorful internet Rap music. Featuring 11 new tracks on his new tape SUPER BOSS!, with features from SoFaygo and JELEEL!, the flagship artist of Popstar Benny’s Popstar FM is continuing to level up his high-energy signature style. Defined by his animated, autotune-heavy vocals and maximalist production jam-packed with video-game sound effects and colorful ad-libs. Already living up to his prolific reputation in 2024, Bear1Boss effectively set the stage for this new release last month with a 5-track EP Outta Here!, three new singles in “C-M”, “Damn”, and the dance-infused “2 Zips 1 Liter”, as well as a standout appearance on evilgiane’s recent project #HEAVENSGATE VOL. 1 with the track “IDK NUN”. In celebration of his 24th birthday, SUPER BOSS! is out now.

Bear1Boss is also celebrating his new historic co-publising deal with Rick Rubin‘s label, American Records and PULSE Records. Brought in by American A&R, Isaac Heymann and Independent A&R, Orlando Emerson-Sullivan, the deal was negotiated and managed by Attorney, Aurielle Brooks, and Bear1Boss‘ manager, Joseph Hirsch. The new deal is a testament to Bear1Boss‘ recent hot streak, proving him to be one of the most booming, unique sounds and energies to arise from the new generation of Hip-Hop. After receiving countless co-signs and media attention throughout the past year, Rick Rubin has landed as the one he locked in with. The deal links Bear1Boss with American and Pulse Records for the next three years, as he begins his embark on the mainstream while still technically independent of a record label. The announcement arrives on the heels of Bear1Boss releasing his new mixtape, SUPER BOSS!, ahead of his highly-anticipated album rollout later this year. Including features from SoFaygo and JELEEL!, Bear1Boss is looking forward to seeing the list of accomplishments to come from his new release and partnership.

Although Bear1Boss has been a staple of Atlanta’s bubbling underground Hip-Hop scene for years – with deep ties to legends of the scene like KEY!, Mexikodro, and Skooly, as well as rising stars like Tony Shhnow, Anycia, Karrahboooand Popstar Benny. Bear1Boss’ profile has never been higher than it is today. He experienced big influxes of new interest in 2023 following his animated On the Radar performance that was widely circulated on social media and his most viral moment yet when he serendipitously appeared in the resurfaced Playboi Carti arrest video from 2022. Bear1Boss has always maintained his forward-thinking approach to music by dropping projects at a breakneck pace, to go along with his endless stream of singles and music videos – including recent notable releases like “Temperature Check” and “Thankful”. This year, Bear1Boss is taking full advantage of his time in the spotlight, starting with his new mixtape tape SUPER BOSS!– out now via Popstar FM.
