Fans! Fans! Fans! Blackbear had a sold-out show on Monday, June 3, 2019, at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA. Roughly 1,500 fans were waiting outside the venue just three hours before the show started. Fans lined up early to secure a good spot on the floor before the other thousands of fans arrived.
One of the opening acts for Blackbear was Gashi, Gashi was set to perform first but happened to be running a little behind schedule. Up and coming American singer Stalking Gia took the stage to bridge the gap in Gashi’s performance delay. Stalking Gia literally took the crowd by surprise. Some fans were a little puzzled at first because of the performance lineup switch due to Gashi’s delay. The fans still enjoyed the show despite the mix-up, they were still satisfied and got their monies worth for the show.
Stalking Gia informed the crowd that she was about to play her last song of the night. Before playing her heart out, she said her final goodbyes to the accepting crowd.
Suddenly, the lights shut off and a booming voice filled the room and said ” Yoyo Philly What’s Sup!! Sorry for being late, but let’s turn up in the meantime!” As he started to perform “My Year” ft G-Eazy the song that had the crowd turned up while singing along. Due to Gashi arriving halfway through his set, He was able to play all of his songs, he just had to cut them short. Fans really enjoyed the performances, especially the part when he walked into the crowd rapping and interacting with his fans. Just before his set was up, Gashi showed respect to Philly’s very own Meek Mill by ending the show with “Dream and Nightmares” that put the crowd into a frenzy of excitement.

Elohim joined the stage after Gashi. The fans were a little stiff at first but got won over by the DJ’ing skills and popping tunes delivered by Elohim. Who never stopped rocking the crowd from the time she started till the lights went out.
With the lights still out, and the venue packed, the energy for the long-awaited Blackbear was through the roof. But when Blackbear hit the stage felt as if the crowd was in sync with him, singing word for word, note for note. Even matched his energy, it was an amazing sight to see and enjoy.
