On Saturday, July 6th, during the 30th Annual Essence Festival of Culture, Boozy Bounce, in partnership with Diageo, hosted the official afterparty and ultimate celebration of New Orleans bounce music and Southern culture. The event emphasized the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans while immersing attendees in experiences that highlight the soul of Southern sound and bounce music.
Boozy Bounce transformed the night with electrifying live DJ sets from acclaimed DJs Jordan Rock, Jash Jay, and Zeus. The evening reached new heights with electrifying live performances by local New Orleans bounce music artists, such as BJ So Cole, ReUpReedy, and Denisia, leaving attendees awestruck and dancing into the early hours.The performers were specially selected to pay homage to the city’s vibrant local music scene.
The afterparty drew an impressive guest list that glittered with celebrities and influencers alike. Among the luminaries in attendance were Coleman Domingo, Amber Riley, Zerina Akers, Kendrick Sampson, Kyla Pratt, Jordan E.
