CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM TOP OF THE HILLS OUT DECEMBER 19TH

Five-time Latin GRAMMY® winners, Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, are set to release their highly anticipated new album, TOP OF THE HILLS, on December 19th. Recorded over an electrifying two weeks, TOP OF THE HILLS finds the duo planting their flag at the summit of their musical prowess, emerging with an audaciously maximalist, endlessly charismatic body of work that dismantles any of the expectations for what was to come next for the Argentine duo. With a sound that destroys genre boundaries and production sorcery that feels one glitch away from rewriting the laws of physics, this album doesn’t just mark a new chapter; it sets fire to the old one.
The album will include the previously released single “GIMME MORE,” a song that confronts the relentless hunger of success and the addictive momentum of their rise. The accompanying music video follows the duo from their victorious Latin GRAMMY night into a chaotic, euphoric afterparty, gambling through the MGM casino floor with their signature chads, taking a helicopter flight over the city, letting off steam at a strip club and then a gun range, all before hauling their stage design into the desert to set it ablaze. As the flames consume the remnants of their past era, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso perform in front of the burning installation, signaling the arrival of TOP OF THE HILLS.
They also recently teamed up with Fred again.. for “Beto’s Horns (fred remix)” and “Beto’s Horns (Ezra Collective remix).” The track’s creation unfolded live across the summer, with Fred and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso building it together on Twitch—from Athens to Madrid—before recording final vocals live in Paris. The track was also reimagined by the renowned London jazz ensemble Ezra Collective, who remixed the song during a filmed jam session with Fred, CA7RIEL & Paco in central London.
This announcement also follows a historic sweep at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. With 10 nominations—the most ever for an Argentine project in a single year—the duo took home five major awards: Best Short Form Music Video (“#TETAS”), Best Long Form Music Video (PAPOTA), Best Pop Song (“EL DÍA DEL AMIGO”), Best Alternative Music Album (PAPOTA), and Best Alternative Song (“#TETAS”). The night also featured one of the ceremony’s standout performances, with CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso delivering a surreal, cult-level medley atop two giant mountains inspired by the now iconic blue hat and furry vest from their Tiny Desk performance. Surrounded by muscled chads stitching costumes in real time, it’s a moment that was instantly cemented in Latin GRAMMY history.
The Latin GRAMMY triumph punctuates a breakthrough year for the duo defined by the viral success of their Tiny Desk performance, their acclaimed PAPOTA EP, and the PAPOTA Tour, their most ambitious run yet with more than 60 shows across four continents, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Fuji Rock, Outside Lands, Montreux, and six editions of Lollapalooza. They recently closed the cycle at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in LA and supported Kendrick Lamar on the Latin American leg of his Grand National tour. The duo also scored their first U.S. GRAMMY nomination—Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album—with winners to be announced February 1 in Los Angeles.
