On Wednesday, October 30th, DANNYLUX came to The Factory in Dallas for his 7th stop of the “LIMERENCIA” tour. With Dariell Cano as the opener, they brought the perfect sierreno sound to the popular Dallas venue. Doors would not open until 7:00 PM and there was a massive line that stretched down the whole street. With a packed show and plenty of fans, DANNYLUX put on a memorable tour for the audience.
Dariell Cano was first to take the stage around 8:00 PM. He came out with his band and guitar to play songs from his sierreno catalog to get the night started with the latin sounds. One of the songs he performed was called “Viernes Nublado” which the crowd was going wild for. Dariell even informed the audience that the song just reached 1 million streams on Spotify. Dariell was very humble and down to earth. Overall, I would say Dariell and his band was the perfect sierreno act to have as an opener.

Shortly after, DANNYLUX took the stage and the crowd was packed in from the back of the venue to the barricade. The packed venue was roaring with screams and cheering as he opened with his ultra popular song “SI SUPIERAS”. His set consisted of lots of songs from his 2021 album “Las Dos Caras Del Amor” as well as her new 2022 album “Limerencia”.

As the show went on, the crowd screamed at Danny to sign their sneakers that were thrown on stage and take selfies with their phones that were handed to him. Prior to the show I did not listen to much sierreno music but I can say confidently this will be a genre that will be on repeat for myself. Danny’s band was the perfect addition to his smooth voice. Throughout the night Danny did a fantastic job at engaging with the crowd and giving them the show of their night.
