ELA TAUBERT ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’ AND RELEASES FIRST TRACK ADVANCE, “¿CÓMO HACES?”

Latin GRAMMY® winner ELA TAUBERT, widely regarded as one of Latin pop’s most compelling and emerging voices, is excited to announce the release of her highly anticipated and debut album ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’, slated for release on Friday, May 9th.

‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’ is an intimate project that offers a glimpse into ELA’s late-night reflections on love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Inspired by the overthinking that often keeps us awake at night, the album is a musical diary filled with questions—questions ELA continues to ask herself. The album’s title is also a nod to a long-standing family tradition of making wishes at 11:11, with each track reflecting a deeply personal question in ELA’s life. ‘PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’ will feature a mix of the artist’s recent singles including “¿Cómo Paso? (Con Joe Jonas),” “¿Para Qué?,” “¿Por Qué No Me Fui Antes?,” “¿Por Qué Soy Así?” and her collaboration with legendary producer Max Martin, “¿Es En Serio?,” along with a wealth of newly recorded material.

To accompany the album announcement, ELA also releases the first track advance, “¿Cómo Haces?”which she began to tease on socials last month. “¿Cómo Haces?” is a powerful tribute to her mother Erika that has taken on new significance thanks to a viral TikTok trend. Fans are now dedicating the song to anyone who has been their steadfast support, whether that be a parent, friend, sibling, or even a pet.

A particularly special track for ELA, “¿Cómo Haces?” also features live fan vocals from her sold-out ‘Metamorfosis Tour’ show in Bogotá. During the September 2024 performance, ELA invited her audience to sing the chorus, capturing 15 takes before landing the perfect recording, which now graces the song’s conclusion.

About the track ELA Shares, “¿Cómo Haces?” is a deeply personal song for me. I wrote it for my mom, which makes it even more meaningful. It’s a tribute to my fans, family, friends, and everyone who has always supported me, no matter the circumstances. The song holds a special place in my heart, and just thinking about it brings me to tears. Towards the end, you can hear the voices of my fans, family, and friends—captured during our first Sold Out concert in Bogotá. In this way, I made sure that the people I love the most are part of this song that means the world to me.”

The album announcement and single release come on the heels of ELA’s debut performances at two of Latin America’s biggest festivals: Estéreo Picnic in Colombia and Tecate Pa’l Norte in Mexico. During her performance at Tecate, ELA teased fans with hints of a surprise announcement, leaving the crowd buzzing with speculation about her upcoming album

With this album announcement, ELA continues to consolidate herself as one of the most outstanding artists in the music scene. She kicked off 2025 by being recognized as an “Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora and VEVO DSCVR. Additionally, ELA is no stranger to the spotlight with a remarkable track record in the “Best New Artist” categories.
