Explosive Multi-Platinum Dayglow Unveils New Single, ‘Cocoon’ & Announces Self-Titled Album

Dayglow, a multi-platinum certified indie pop artist, has announced his self-titled debut album, set to be released on September 13th through Polydor Records. Alongside this announcement, he has also unveiled his new single ‘Cocoon’ and an upcoming extensive North American tour. The album is now available for pre-order.

Dayglow is a reflection of Sloan Struble’s identity as an artist and creative, serving as a vibrant introduction to the Dayglow universe. The debut album, featuring 10 tracks, was entirely written, performed, recorded, produced, and mixed by Struble in his home studio in Malibu. He shares, “At 18, I created my mixtape Fuzzybrain. Being an introverted kid from a small Texas town, I didn’t anticipate much commercial success—I made it purely for my own enjoyment. Inspired by the 2010’s indie music scene, I wanted to create an album completely by myself in my bedroom. Thus, Dayglow was born. It was a pure, naive, and fun indie-pop album, designed to be performed live by a 5-piece band.”

He adds, “Since then, I’ve fully embraced Dayglow, and my world has become a strange mix of things I never thought I’d have. But I still feel like I haven’t properly introduced myself. So, I see this new album as a debut. It’s self-titled and grand. The previous three records were more like mixtapes, showing my growth, influences, and childhood. Now, Dayglow is finally stepping into the world with clarity and confidence. I want this album to encapsulate exactly what Dayglow looks, sounds, and feels like.”

Last month, Dayglow began a new chapter with his summertime anthem ‘Every Little Thing I Say I Do’. The catchy, nostalgic single was released with a homemade music video, featuring Struble and directed and edited by him. UPROXX described the song as ‘pretty damn catchy’, while Ones To Watch noted its punchy guitar riffs and catchy hook as the perfect backdrop for the summer days ahead.

Over the past few years, Dayglow has risen as a multi-platinum certified artist, amassing billions of streams across his mixtapes Fuzzybrain [2019], Harmony House [2021], and People In Motion [2022]. He has delivered viral hits including the double platinum ‘Can I Call You Tonight’, platinum ‘Hot Rod’, and gold ‘Close To You’, with the former becoming 2020’s biggest independent alternative hit and peaking at #2 at Alternative and AAA Radio.
