GENRE-BLENDING MEXICAN-AMERICAN ARTIST PACO S STUCK IN A CYCLE IN “LOVERS 2 FRIENDS”
Rising Mexican-American artist Paco shares his new single, “LOVERS 2 FRIENDS”.
The anticipated release of “LOVERS 2 FRIENDS.,” a hypnotic R&B-pop anthem that captures the emotional push and pull of modern love, plays like a one-man boy band—full and instantly addictive. Blending silky vocals with the bounce of nostalgic rap, the song feels familiar in the best way. It’s Paco in his purest form: soulful, catchy, and rich with his signature sound that defies a single genre.
This track follows his standout dual release BODY SHOP. / PLAN B. and his recent collaboration with Alé Araya on pop single, “CANDY.” Paco also appeared on Tommy Richman’s COYOTE album on the fan-favorite “LETTERMAN.”
Paco is a first-generation Mexican American artist originally from St. Louis, Missouri, where he first fell in love with music while DJing local parties. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2021, he’s carved a space all his own—melding cultural roots with forward-thinking artistry. In 2024, Paco supported Tommy Richman on the sold-out Before The Desert Tour. Now focused on new music, he continues to evolve his genre-blending style infused with his signature Latin Swag. Through his work, Paco aims to inspire other first-generation artists to dream big and pursue their passions boldly.
