Rising Mexican-American artist Paco releases new single “CANDY”. featuring Alé Araya.
The new track delves into the raw emotional turmoil of love, longing, and heartbreak. Reflecting on a past relationship filled with passion and intimacy, now overshadowed by the ache of separation, and lingering unanswered questions, “CANDY.” captivates with its blend of English and Spanish lyrics, amplifying the emotional depth of love lost.
Paco shares: “Who doesn’t love something sweet? A guilty pleasure some might say is what ‘CANDY.’ ft. Alé Araya is. The sound of something familiar yet new is what this song brings with its genre bending title Latin Funk Wave Pop. ‘CANDY.’ FT ALÉ ARAYA is the first single with this culmination of sounds which leads into the project that digs deeper into this genre. Following previous releases like BODY SHOP. / PLAN B., HEY LADY. / MONEY TALK, and his well-received singles “LIE 2 ME” and “3MTILLIDIE,” “CANDY” showcases Paco’s ever-evolving sound, blending rhythmic fusion with Latin influences. Paco is also known for his collaboration with Tommy Richman on LETTERMAN from Richman’s album COYOTE. Currently, Paco is supporting Tommy on his COYOTE tour across Europe.
Paco is a first-generation Mexican American artist on the rise. He discovered his love for music in his hometown of St. Louis Missouri, while DJing at local high school parties before relocating to Los Angeles in 2021 to pursue his passion. More recently, Paco finished up his supporting dates off Tommy Richman’s sold-out dates on Before The Desert Tour. Exploring an ever-evolving blend of genres while embracing his Latin Swag style, Paco aims to inspire other first-generation kids to venture out and dream big.
