Global Pop Girl Group Return as GIRLSET First Single, “Commas”, out August 29th
After capturing hearts around the globe, the powerhouse girl group returns stronger, sharper, and with a new name: GIRLSET. The group also released the official GIRLSET film through their official social media channels. Showcasing striking new visuals, the short film ends with a message from the girls themselves: “We’re setting what we are. GIRLSET”.
Still proudly under the partnership of JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, the newly reinvigorated foursome – Lexi, Camila, Kendall, and Savanna – mark a bold new chapter with the announcement of their upcoming single, “Commas”, set to be released worldwide on August 29th.
“Commas” is a bold sonic shift: grown, more mature, and wrapped in edgy, beat-driven pop. It signals GIRLSET’s evolution from youthful charm to confident self-expression, all while keeping the DNA that made them stand out: diversity, authenticity, and fearless energy. “Commas” is executively produced and written by Tommy “TBHits” Brown, along with BLANCO BABY MOB, Svn. The. Singer., and Saint Steph, Serrin Joy, Amanda Rose Ratchford, Brett Koolik, and Theron Thomas.
Formerly VCHA, the new name GIRLSET reflects the group’s evolved artistry, unified voice, and their readiness to set the tone for a global generation of fearless, genre-defying young women.
This next chapter comes after a period of real growth, both as artists and as individuals. Since debuting as VCHA, the members of GIRLSET have taken time to regroup, refocus, and reclaim their voice. Now, they’re stepping forward with a clear vision, and it’s entirely their own.
