GRAMMY®-NOMINATED ARTIST LEON THOMAS ANNOUNCES HIS FIRST HEADLINE TOUR
TICKETS GO ON SALE TOMORROW, OCTOBER 20, FOR U.S. RUN, WHICH KICKS OFF IN ATLANTA ON NOVEMBER 27
THOMAS’ ACCLAIMED DEBUT ALBUM, ELECTRIC DUSK,
IS OUT NOW VIA EZMNY RECORDS / MOTOWN RECORDS
GRAMMY®-nominated artist Leon Thomas announced his first-ever headline tour. The run will kick off November 27 in Atlanta at Purgatory. He’ll play Baby’s All Right in his hometown of Brooklyn on November 29. After his December 1 show at Beat Kitchen in Chicago, the tour will wrap up on December 5 at Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, October 20, HERE.
Thomas is touring in support of his debut album Electric Dusk, which was recently released via EZMNY Records/Motown Records. Acclaimed for his work on albums by Drake and Rick Ross and as co-producer of SZA’s No. 1 hit “Snooze” alongside Babyface, he was the first artist Ty Dolla $ign signed to EZMNY Records.
Named after Los Angeles’ longest-running drive-in theatre, Electric Dusk serves as the acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer’s love letter to cinema. Exploring love, heartbreak and growth while transporting listeners into an alternative reality, the album is sonically diverse – from the soft, soul-strumming breakup ballad “Breaking Point” and the gospel-tinged “Crash & Burn” to “Love Jones” feat. Ty Dolla $ign, a vibey slow jam expressing Thomas’ love for both the city of L.A. and his lady, and the guitar-forward grooviness of the “Blue Hundreds.”
Listen to Electric Dusk HERE. Check out Thomas’ new single, “Crash & Burn” (with Blxst) [Remix].
