Greek Unleashes Electrifying Music Video for New Single ‘SOMEDAY’| New album ‘ACCELERATOR’ out 6/28

After receiving heavy praise from Zane Lowe, who hailed the track as “really good” during last week’s high-profile Apple Music premiere, Greek has shared the music video for his new single “SOMEDAY”. The soulful live performance visual arrives on the heels of EXTC, his acclaimed 2022 debut album. Serving as Greek’s first release of 2024, “SOMEDAY” is a melodic slowburn characterized by a groovy, genre-bending instrumental and marks the third offering from his highly-anticipated sophomore album ACCELERATOR (out 6/28). “SOMEDAY” follows the release of “VIRGINIA CREEPER”, which earned him an Elton John co-sign after he lauded it as “one hell of a good record“, and “THERE FOR YOU”. Almost entirely self-produced, Greek’s second full-length outing is steeped in personal reflection about coming of age in a poverty-stricken small town within the heart of the American Bible Belt, yet still having the drive to pack up your car and chase your dreams — hence the album title ACCELERATOR. Known for a cinematic sound and heartfelt lyricism, Greek is a thoughtful artist with an uncanny ability to tackle ultra-personal musings through his distinct, R&B-dipped alternative soundscapes. After first arriving on the scene with debut project EXTC, which was backed by fan-favorite track “safety” (15M Streams), recent months have seen the artist-producer tour with close collaborator Weston Estate, lace beats for SoFaygo, and release singles “BLUFF”, “VIRGINIA CREEPER”, and “THERE FOR YOU”. As Greek continues to carve out his own lane within the experimental indie space, the Virginia crooner’s new track “SOMEDAY” serves as a launch pad for his long-awaited sophomore LP ACCELERATOR — out June 28th.
