Having passed the year-and-a-half mark of a worldwide kerfuffle, Jake Miller sums up everyone’s sentiments perfectly with the title of his 2021 tour, “hi, I Missed You”. Upon announcing his North American Fall schedule Jake shares, “I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the road and see all the fans again. I’m going to put on the best show they’ve ever seen. I’ll also have a new album out by the time the tour starts, and I’m so hyped to play this new music for the first time. I’m just glad to be back. I missed everyone so much!” The 33-date tour kicked off in Mesa, AZ on September 14, along with special guests Fly By Midnight and Just Seconds Apart.

At the Masquerade in Atlanta, the evening opened with the first guest, Just Seconds Apart – a unique band with an adorable name comprised of actual triplets, Ari (Guitar/Lead Vocals, Alex (Keyboard/Bassist/Vocals), and Sela (Drummer/Vocals). The band serenaded the crowd with some of their original songs “Danny Jones”, “Driftwood Lane”, and mixed in some amazing covers, including “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins and “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen. Their upbeat, ambient energy and tunes set the night up with a noticeably chill vibe.

Up next, Fly By Midnight cranks the energy and flow of the show up by hyping the audience. Most of their songs, such as “Love Me Like a Friend” and “Borrow Your Time” flowed with pop-indie beats and synths that had the crowd actively singing and dancing along.
After the duo finished their set, fans were eagerly waiting, and it was not long until Jake Miller arrived on stage and the crowd went wild! His stage presence and charismatic personality mesmerized the crowd the instant he stepped onstage.

Throughout the entire evening, he constantly held the room’s unwavering attention. He performed singles from his latest album, Silver Lining II, including quarantine jam “Saved Me”, “Crystal Ball”, and “Ross and Rachel”. Later in the evening, Fly By Midnight joins Jake on stage with their emotive indie-pop song “Automatic” and an upbeat cover to Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar, We’re Goin Down”.
The show was such a treat to bring to Atlanta fans. Having grown up in Florida, Jake has become quite a local favorite and his passion as a performer is clear in his love and dedication to his fans. He has certainly kept up with his admirable promise to deliver the best performance he possibly can. This tour is just getting started, so be sure to grab your tickets to his upcoming shows!
