JUDAH WESTON RELEASES 2 PACK OF NEW SONGS “I’LL BE FINE” + “AIN’T THE SAME”
Eighteen-year-old Lower East Side rapper Judah Weston has just shared a 2 pack of new singles, “I’ll Be Fine” and “Ain’t The Same” –– out now, alongside an accompanying music video, in which he plays king of New York, working the city’s streets after dark and counting money with his crew around him. “Ain’t The Same” rides a menacing beat produced by Kama, Rocco and Migo, as Judah Weston measures the distance between 13 in the projects and 18 with money in hand, still reading the worry on his mother’s face. “I’ll Be Fine”, produced by TJ Rivers, OOSCR, and IWMM lightens the touch and gives him room to glide, its hook promising he’s okay even if he isn’t coming home, before the song closes on a studio roll call of the crew in the room, from Lil Makk and Ty Ty Gunz to his brother, with HOLD FAST directing the accompanying visual.
“I’ll Be Fine” and “Ain’t The Same” arrive at the end of a summer that Judah Weston spent alongside his brother and producer IsoKeys. The two released their joint debut project Why So Much Hate on July 17th via GoodTalk and Hold Fast –– thirteen tracks produced by IsoKeys that earned a 7.0 from Pitchfork, with a video for “Toe on the Gas” following the viral success of “RA TA DIA” (9M+ Streams) and its subsequent Extended version with a Lyrical Lemonade-directed music video. On August 18th, the duo shared the third visual from the project, “Too High To Think”, and a week later The FADER released a documentary following Judah through the Lower East Side.
