KARRAHBOOO DROPS SOLO DEBUT EP NOT DA 2! OUT NOW
Karrahbooo has never needed to do too much to get your attention. The critically acclaimed Atlanta rapper steps into her next chapter with the release of her debut solo EP, Not Da 2!, out now.
Across 11 tracks, Not Da 2! puts the focus exactly where it belongs: on Karrahbooo. Cool, sharp and completely self-assured, she sounds more certain than ever about who she is and the lane she’s creating for herself. She isn’t looking for validation or trying to prove she belongs. Instead, she lets her pen, personality and unmistakably laid-back delivery do the talking.
About releasing Not Da 2! Karrahbooo shared, “This is everything I’ve been working on for the last two years. I’m just happy everybody finally gets to hear me for real and hear what I’ve been creating. I’m proud of it, but this is only the start for me.”
That attitude runs throughout the project, including focus track “WYO” featuring Monaleo. Built around a simple question, “what are you on?,” the track finds the two rappers trading bars with the kind of casual confidence that makes even their most pointed lines feel effortless. Karrahbooo sets the tone with, “Come on, I’m on whatever you on,” while she and Monaleo play off one another naturally.
Elsewhere, Karrahbooo reconnects with Lil Yachty on “Patched It Up,” marking their first collaboration of this new chapter. Rather than making the reunion bigger than it needs to be, the record lets their familiar chemistry speak for itself, with the two settling easily back into the dynamic that first introduced many listeners to Karrahbooo.
On “Make Her Dance” featuring K3, she turns her attention to the club, gliding over the production as she raps, “I’m passing out shots, throwing up ones to make her dance.” K3 joins her on the record, matching its late-night energy.
Throughout Not Da 2!, Karrahbooo moves with the same nonchalance that has made her one of rap’s most compelling new personalities. There’s no overexplaining and no chasing what anyone else is doing. Whether she’s talking relationships, money, motion or simply reminding people who they’re dealing with, she remains distinctly herself. Not Da 2! is less about introducing Karrahbooo than it is about making clear that she knows exactly who she is.
The project arrives after a string of releases that have steadily revealed this next version of Karrahbooo. In July, she shared “KEEP UP W ME” featuring Zukenee, a fitting warning to anyone trying to follow her pace. Stardust Magazine noted that Karrahbooo “seems increasingly comfortable setting her own pace—and inviting everyone else to try keeping up,” while HotNewHipHop highlighted the personalities both artists bring to the record.
Earlier this spring, she kicked off the new era with “WYD,” bringing her signature deadpan delivery to a persistent crush while making it clear she still holds the upper hand. VIBE named the track among its “50 Hip-Hop & R&B Releases You Need On Your Playlist,” while Okayplayer noted that it “captures the same unapologetic energy that has defined her most celebrated work to date.”
The music follows a year of Karrahbooo moving back into the spotlight on her own terms. She recently sat down with Our Generation Music and Kids Take Over for wide-ranging conversations about her career and what comes next. In May, Lil Yachty also brought her out as a special guest during the final night of his Concrete Boys Tour at Atlanta’s Center Stage, giving fans an unexpected reunion in their hometown.
The latest chapter follows 2025’s “FREE BOOO,” which The FADER named among “The best rap songs of October 2025,” praising the way Karrahbooo sidestepped the noise surrounding her and got back to what first made people pay attention: the music.
With Not Da 2!, that focus becomes even clearer. Karrahbooo isn’t interested in being anyone’s number two. She’s building a world entirely her own.
