LEBRA JOLIE RELEASES NEW ALBUM BETTER THAN YESTERDAY
Houston superstar Lebra Jolie releases her new album Better Than Yesterday, available now via Interscope Records. The 15-track project stands as Jolie’s most complete and intentional body of work to date, a confident, hard-hitting statement that captures her growth, resilience, and sharpened perspective.
Throughout the album, Jolie leans into a series of high-energy, commanding records where her delivery is direct, assertive, and fully in control, while balancing that intensity with more introspective moments that give listeners a deeper understanding of her journey. The project opens with “My All,” where Jolie sets the tone by reflecting on the sacrifices she’s made, and the consistency required to keep pushing forward. On “i8,” she doubles down on that mindset, delivering a standout performance centered on independence and staying focused while elevating her position.
Jolie continues that energy visually with the “Cowgirl” music video, directed by Cameron Dean. The visual opens with Jolie and her crew riding into a ranch on horseback before transitioning into a stable setting where she and her dancers perform a choreographed routine surrounded by galloping horses, matching the track’s sensual tone with a strong, commanding presence.

Tracks like “Girl Math” explore relationship tension with a sharp, self-aware lens, while “Grandma’s House” offers one of the album’s most introspective moments, pulling back to reflect on her foundation and the experiences that shaped her. Across the project, Better Than Yesterday feels intentional, a body of work where Jolie is not just performing but defining herself with clarity and purpose.
A key highlight also comes on “Don’t Panic” featuring Trina, a collaboration that bridges generations of Southern rap with confidence and presence. The album also includes “F’in Wit Me (Remix)” featuring Diamond, reinforcing Jolie’s place among a lineage of women leading with individuality and authority.
The album’s themes are further expanded through Jolie’s ongoing Better Than Yesterday docu-style series, where she offers a candid, evolving look into her mindset and personal growth. In Session #1, she opens up about the mental weight of the industry and her drive to stay grounded while chasing her goals. Session #2 finds her reflecting on the sacrifices and life experiences that shaped her work ethic, while also recognizing the importance of confidence and trusting her path.
In Session #3, Jolie leans into emotional growth, speaking on the strength it takes to be vulnerable, the importance of setting boundaries, and her commitment to protecting her peace as she moves forward. Together, the sessions frame Better Than Yesterday as more than just an album, they present a clear, ongoing journey rooted in self-awareness, discipline, and intentional growth.
With Better Than Yesterday, Lebra Jolie delivers a project that feels both grounded and elevated, a clear statement of identity, growth, and forward momentum.
