MALUMA JOINS FORCES WITH MAISAK TO RELEASE THEIR FIRST COLLABORATION: “UN POLVITO +”

Global Latin music idol Maluma joins forces with Maisak, one of the rising talents from his own label Royalty Records, to release their first-ever collaboration: “Un Polvito +.” The track is designed to ignite emotions and connect with audiences through authenticity and rhythm.

Maluma first met Maisak during a songwriting camp and immediately believed in his talent. Years later, after a creative process that brought them back together, this release marks a milestone for both artists — a celebration of mentorship, creativity, and Maluma’s commitment to supporting new voices in Latin music.

“Un Polvito +” tells the story of a seemingly toxic couple that has just broken up, narrated through the vulnerability and intensity of a love that refuses to fade: “Mi corazón me está diciendo que te extraño, pero prefiero irme antes de que te haga daño.”

The song was written by Maluma and Maisak, with production by MadMusick, Ily Wonder, and Fenix The Producer for Royalty Records.

Blending heartfelt lyrics with irresistible urban beats, the single taps into the global “perreo llorando” trend. As Maisak describes it, it’s a “vallenatico pa’ la disco”—a fresh, genre-bending fusion that invites listeners to both dance and feel.

The official video was filmed at 903, Maluma’s own nightclub in Medellín, Colombia, and directed by Padox for Royalty Films. It’s a cinematic performance filled with energy, sensuality, and nightlife vibes. Watch the video here.
