Martha Stewart will join Executive Director of the Art Students League + arts patron, collector, and advocate Michael Rips for a literary discussion.

Martha and Michael will discuss Michael’s new book, The Golden Flea: A Story of Obsession and Collecting (out April 21st via W. W. Norton & Company) via Pennsylvania’s Midtown Scholar Bookstore’s Crowdcast Livestream.

The Golden Flea leads readers into the magical world of the Chelsea flea market. Rips is an entrancing storyteller and the new book illuminates his decades-long obsession with and immersion in the flea’s “strange and chaotic bounty” and the wondrous vendors he meets along the way.
