Q Da Fool, the prolific Maryland rapper has just shared a new single “Rich Droppaz” (feat. OT7 Quanny), and announced the December 15th release date for his new mixtape Art of Ambition. The forthcoming project, in partnership with music distribution company ONErpm, will serve as Q Da Fool‘s official comeback tape. He served an initial 18-month sentence and got locked up again after a brief stint of freedom, dropping Home Detention this summer backed by fiery, charismatic singles like “Heisman”“Spin Around”, and “Mazza”. Despite the recent tribulations, Q Da Fool is ready as ever to showcase why he’s the premier talent hailing from the DMV, highlighted by his gritty lyricism and infectious energy. With his new single “Rich Droppaz” (feat. OT7 Quanny), Q Da Fool is keeping his foot on the gas by expanding upon his dynamic street-heavy sound expressed through a healthy balance of both introspective raps and innovative flexing. “I rock Amiri, you still rockin’ Pacsun / You never counted a hundred bands, that shit be fuckin’ up your thumb”, he raps in his opening verse before exchanging verses with Philly spitter OT7 Quanny. Rapping with an energized purpose and asserting his dominance through his signature street flair, “Rich Droppaz” serves as a revealing glance into the forthcoming Art of Ambition. After being held back by legal trouble, Q Da Fool is back like nothing has changed and looking to reclaim his spot with the forthcoming release of Art of Ambitionon 12/15 – breathing new life into an underserved DMV hip-hop scene that has been blossoming for almost a decade.

Hailing from the small town of Largo, Q Da Fool has been a clear-cut DMV standout for the better part of a decade. After earing his spot through a constant display of rapid-fire flows and matter-of-fact lyricism displayed on a number of hit singles including the RIAA Gold-Certified“Win” (9.4M Streams) and a momentous collaboration with Shoreline Mafia, Q Da Fool has steadily been carving out his own distinct lane in which he consistently shares detailed stories of his lived experiences and the street life in Maryland. Having released an impressive string of countless dynamic street anthems and projects with producers like Kenny Beats and the Grammy award-winning Zaytoven, Q has distinctly chosen not to follow directly in the footsteps of his area’s popular go-go wave, which is an artistic decision that has allowed him to fully flex his gritty lyricism and energetic flows. A consistently gritty rapper spitting candid street sermons through energetic flows, Q Da Fool is ready to continue representing his state to the fullest on the forthcoming Art of Ambition – beginning with the lead single “Rich Droppaz” (feat. OT7 Quanny), out now.
