Chart-topping, award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini has announced plans for a long awaited North American headline tour. Dates begin March 5, 2023 at Toronto, ON’s Danforth Music Hall and then continue through a tour finale at Los Angeles, CA’s historic Belasco Theater at Ace Hotel on March 24, 2023, with further highlights including a March 8, 2023 NYC show (see complete itinerary below). The upcoming live run follows the recent arrival of Nutini’s fourth studio album, LAST NIGHT IN THE BITTERSWEET, available now via Atlantic Records HERE. Hailed by Rolling Stone as “arguably his most complete to date… It sees Nutini’s blue-eyed-soul vocals paired with a vast, kaleidoscopic sound,” the album includes “Radio,” “Lose It,” and “Though The Echoes,” all joined by official “Live In The Bittersweet” performance videos.
Set to take the stage inNew York City later this evening with an almost immediately sold-out show at the intimate (Le) Poisson Rouge, Nutini will further herald Last Night In The Bittersweet with a pair of high profile TV performances, including NBC’s Late Night with Seth Myers, set for Wednesday, November 16, and CBS Saturday Morning, set for Saturday, November 26. Last Night In The Bittersweet made a spectacular debut atop the UK’s Official Albums Chart upon its release this summer, marking Nutini’s third consecutive #1 album as well as the UK’s fourth biggest selling album of the year upon release. In addition, the LP made career-high debuts for Nutini in the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, and also debuted top 5 in Ireland (#1), Belgium, and Switzerland.
Nutini has spent much of this past summer and fall celebrating Last Night In The Bittersweet on a sold-out EU/UK headline tour, resuming next month with a series of shows including five homecoming concerts at Glasgow, Scotland’s massive OVO Hydro. Currently boasting over 1.5B worldwide streams, more than 8M global album sales, and 8M single sales in the UK, the Paisley, Scotland-born singer-songwriter made his milestone debut with 2006’s These Streets, earning 5x platinum in the UK.
