Quando Rondo is back to close out the year with his newest single “Cash” which is accompanied by an official companion visual. Quando has been on a spiritual awakening since his Recovery album release and recently converted to Islam. The “Cash” video showcases Quando at the Islamic Center in Savannah praying in his Thobe garments alongside his Muslim brothers. This song shows Quando discussing his recent trials and tribulations, as well as talking about how money and fame have changed everything around him – including the people that he cares about.
Recovery, released this past March, was preceded by five singles, including the album’s lone feature track, the YoungBoy Never Broke Again assisted “Give Me A Sign” which Quando released after the untimely passing of his cousin, Pabb. The album was accompanied by the visual release of “Where Would I Be.” Recovery marked Quando’s first solo album in over 2 years. The album title is also a nod to him putting his past behind him and growing as both an artist, but more importantly as a man with a family that looks up to him.
