Platinum singer and songwriter Quinn XCII’s fifth studio album The People’s Champ. The album features his newest single “Too Late” feat. AJR, one of several collaborations on the record.

“Even five records in, I feel like I still have to fight for my stripes and prove myself,” Quinn XCII admits. “My career, to me, has always felt like an underdog story, so even though the deeper message of the album is to be yourself, I thought ‘The People’s Champ’ was a fitting double entendre that could also represent my view of where I currently stand in the music industry.”

He continues, “‘Too Late’ is about someone who changes in life and passes the point of no return. It’s a bittersweet moment where you can’t go back to who you were. A lot of this record is about gratitude, coming to a place of change, and returning. Over the years, I’ve gotten so many messages to collaborate with AJR. I’m a big fan, and it was a long time coming.”

AJR adds, “‘Too Late,’ for us, is about being loved for something you used to be. And the worry of, ‘if I change and continue to grow, will you not recognize the thing you once loved?’”

The People’s Champ also includes previously released tracks “The Lows,” “Let Me Down” feat. Chelsea Cutler (the artists’ sixth collaboration together), “Common” feat. Big Sean, and “Backpack”.
