REBECCA BLACK AGE OF THE EXHIBITIONIST OUT NOW

Pop-disrupting singer, songwriter, DJ, and cult-followed queer icon Rebecca Black releases her highly anticipated second studio album, Age of the Exhibitionist.
Written and produced by Rebecca, Age of the Exhibitionist explores her need to put herself on display to truly feel understood and what it means to find identity in the modern world. Longtime collaborator Nightfeelings (Kelela, Kim Petras) was also an executive producer of the album and Rebecca also worked frequently with Oscar Scheller (PinkPantheress, Lily Allen) and Marcus Andersson (Demi Lovato, Rina Sawayama).
Through each risk-taking, individualist track, the album examines the themes of authenticity. Recorded in London and Los Angeles and partially written while on the road throughout 2025, Black began a close examination of her own changing identity within the lyrics while pulling from a largely ‘90s-inspired sonic palette, inspired heavily by house, trance and trip-hop from that decade.
Rebecca shares “Authenticity and individualism have become the most common performance in the modern world. The push and pull of the need to be perceived and understood as people, in a time where we are conditioned to identify ourselves constantly – is at its most extreme, and I feel that within myself every day. In this practice it feels like we have all become an ever-evolving curation of ourselves, on an everlasting journey to become the people we believed we were always destined to be. Where outward presentation is not only something that will be thoroughly analyzed by those around us but become ultimately an archive of who we have always been. Truth is your exhibition, in the Age of the Exhibitionist. This album is equally me at my most flamboyant and naked versions of myself. I found my own truth in each and every piece of my identity and I’m learning to love them all. In the Age of the Exhibitionist, where whatever you choose to be is yours to keep.”
The album was ushered in by the lead single “Speakerphone” released in June. Following Speakerphone, Rebecca also released “Hot Wet Delirious”, “Michael”, and “Anaheim Star”.
Last month, her hit single “Friday” became RIAA certified Platinum reaching 1M certified units in the US alone. The new career milestone follows the announcement of her North American headlining tour Exhibitionism on Tour, kicking off September 23 in Boston. See below for full routing. Known for her dynamic performances and unapologetic artistry, this tour in support of her new album will showcase that continued evolution, bringing fans together though dance-floor ready music. This upcoming tour follows her 2025 SALVATION Tour and festival performances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Hinterland, and more.
