Hurrikaze II “Make it Rain”: GZ1566 (adult) / $120 /Available 11/11 / Reebok.com & select retailers

The second installment from Reebok and Shawn Kemp’s historic “Kamikaze”(now “Hurrikaze”) signature sneaker line, Kamikaze II was introduced for the high-flying dunker in late ’95. Designed to match Kemp’s disruptive on-court energy, the indistinguishable Kamikaze II offered superior lightweight bounce in a bolder-than-bold mid-cut design with a full-grain leather upper for added support. Done in white/sonic green, the Hurrikaze II “Make it Rain” colorway celebrates Kemp’s time in Seattle, with subtle graphic nods – like rain drops on the upper – to his nickname, “Reign Man”.

Answer DMX “OG” : GW6372 (adult) / $170 /Available 11/18 / Reebok.com, Hibbett, & select retailers

In ‘97, following Reebok’s momentous ’96 rookie-year release of Allen Iverson’s coveted Question Mid – his first signature shoe – the brand issued a response – better yet, an answer. Answer I (otherwise known as “Answer DMX”) debuted for Iverson’s sophomore campaign, offering revolutionary DMX cushioning technology underfoot and bold design elements that helped meet the demands of his explosive playing style and on-court flair. 25 years later (following the return of its OG white/red predecessor earlier this year), Reebok is set to revive the sneaker’s coveted second colorway, a black/white variation built to match Iverson’s away-game superhero ensemble, with an all-leather upper, patent leather accents, “I3” jewel branding, an ice rubber outsole, and DMX technology underfoot.

Shaq Attaq “LA to L.A.”: GY7127 (adult) / $180 /Available 11/28 (Cyber Monday) / Reebok.com, Hibbett, & select retailers

Issued in ’92 for the larger-than-life rookie star, Reebok’s “Shaq Attaq” became Shaquille O’Neal’s first signature basketball shoe. Combining “Shaq” branding elements with first-of-their-kind Reebok technologies like a custom-fit Pump bladder and carbon fiber footplate, Shaq Attaq put on display the brand’s disruptive approach to performance footwear, while providing Shaq with comfort and stability on court as he tore down countless rims and records. This month, shortly after Reebok revived its OG white/blue colorway earlier this year, Shaq Attaq’s 30th anniversary celebration continues via this “LA to L.A.” colorway nodding the big man’s rise to dominance from Louisiana to Los Angeles with purple and gold accents and a custom tiger/palm tree graphic sock liner.
