Rising Regional Mexican Artist Chino Pacas Releases New Single “Como Pancho Villa”
Following his successful hit “Que Sigan Llegando Las Pacas,” the emerging música mexicana artist Chino Pacas is back with his follow-up single “Como Pancho Villa” out via Street Mob Records/PFL/Geffen Records.
In “Como Pancho Villa,” Pacas continues to explore his take on traditional Mexican music. He distinguishes his own sound with his unique raspy vocals on top of a traditional corrido that is driven by classic guitar strings and complemented by a hefty bass. Pacas seamlessly moves throughout the song with his meticulous vocal cadence, reflecting on his now fast-living life and comparing it to Pancho Villas’. Though he’s known for his previous viral features alongside heavyweight artists like Fuerza Regida, “Como Pancho Villa” demonstrates that Pacas can deliver a captivating corrido with the full spotlight focused on him.
“Como Pancho Villa” comes after Pacas’ triumph as a finalist at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards for New Artist of The Year. With hit songs like “Que Sigan Llegando Las Pacas,” “Que Onda” featuring hard-hitting collaborators Fuerza Regida and Calle 24, and the viral TikTok track “Dijeron Que No La Iba Lograr” with Fuerza Regida, Pacas is taking the música mexicana scene by a storm – and he’s only sixteen years old.
