RISING SINGER / SONGWRITER BRENN! SHARES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW SINGLE “4RUNNER”

Rising singer/songwriter Brenn! shares his cathartic new single “4runner”, via Darkroom Records after a string of viral TikTok teasers. With his vivid songwriting, the 18-year-old (born Brennan Keller) has quickly built up a large following online—already racking up over 26 million views using the song on TikTok (from his page alone) and 60K pre-saves from fans around the world. Today’s release comes alongside an accompanying lyric video.

The power of Brenn!’s storytelling comes straight from the heart. “4Runner” is about grappling with a friend who has moved away while feeling stuck in a small southeastern town. “As personal as this story is to me, it seems to connect with many people,” the Tuscaloosa, Alabama native explains. “I want to give people the closure they are looking for—or have already found—with this song”.

Opening with the serene sound of chirping birds, “4runner” slowly builds from buoyant acoustic ballad to grandiose folk-rock anthem. “Oh, this town is empty now and your crown has lost its power,” he sings, “Cause you’ve changed, but you’ve only changed for me.” As the song reaches its peak, feverish guitars, brisk beats, and Brenn!’s commanding howls beautifully collide. The birds eventually reappear and then a car door shuts—perhaps giving us a clue as to what’s next in this heartfelt tale. 

“4runner” is the result of Brenn!’s very first studio session with Nashville-based producer Mike Robinson (Teddy Swims, Greyson Chance, Katie Pruitt). Now that the highly anticipated single is fully unveiled, Brenn! is ready to share more of his world with his ever-growing fan base.
