Have you ever seen someone with orange hair that was slightly tinted pink? Well if you haven’t, that means you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Tessa Violet in concert, which is truly your loss. With Tessa Violet singing and playing guitar, she creates an intense dance atmosphere that both her bassist and drummer match flawlessly.

Her set was full of crowd participating, jumping, foot tapping, random movements of excitement, and anything else you can think of when you hear sassy pop music. She played a cover song about midway through her set on her acoustic guitar which gave her fans a chance to catch their breath, along with her band members. With a packed-out Buckhead Theatre in the heart of upscale residential Atlanta, its for certain that whoever couldn’t make the sold-out show would have been able to hear the cheers of joy from outside the venue.

To keep the crowd on their toes, Tessa Violet pointed out one person from the crowd to start the hand wave during the chorus of her song. The crowd followed her lead seamlessly, almost as if the whole room was entranced by her words. Her willingness to be vulnerable and open about her struggles with anxiety resonated with the people in the audience, and Tessa was truly able to make a connection with them through her lyrics. Tessa Violet was a very fitting opener for the tour headliner, Coin.

Coin is known for their passionate performances and dance anthems, which sometimes prompt the lead singer to join in with the crowd, literally. Coin is no stranger to huge shows, having been apart of the Paramore and Friends show in Nashville last year. This concert full of colors, movement, and fun is only the beginning of their tour. Be sure to check them out in a city near you for an unforgettable experience.
