SHAKIRA MINATED FOR 3 LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS; ANNOUNCES NEW SURPRISE SINGLE “SOLTERA”
GRAMMY®, and Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Shakira has been nominated for 3 Latin Grammy Awards, for Album of the Year, Song of the Year for “Entre Paréntesis”, and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance for “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (Tiësto Remix)”, from her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
The album, which was her first in seven years, received rave reviews, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album Charts and was certified 7x platinum in the first 24 hours of its release, with over 10 billion streams across all audio and video platforms, making it the most streamed album of the year. This body of work is a dazzling testament to her resilience and strength, as well as music’s power to transform even the most trying experiences into precious moments. This weekend, Shakira filmed a scene of the music video for her upcoming song, “Soltera”, at the LIV Miami nightclub. The video features cameos by Anitta, Danna Paola, Lele Pons and Winnie Harlow.
In November, Shakira will hit the road for her sold-out North American “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour,” promoted by Live Nation. The tour’s first leg will start on November 2 in Palm Desert, CA, and includes stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, Chicago and more. Known for her dynamic and high-energy performances, Shakira will bring tracks from her new album and her legendary catalog of hits to life on stage.
