Nigerian rapper and songwriter Shallipopi continues his global takeover with the release of his new single “HIM” featuring trap heavyweight Gunna.
Set over a smooth, guitar-laced trap beat, “HIM” sees Shallipopi lean into his trademark confidence and swagger, built around the unapologetically self-assured mantra “that’s why I’m him”. Gunna’s signature slick delivery complements him seamlessly, turning “HIM” into a statement track connecting Lagos and Atlanta with effortless finesse.
2025 has been an exceptional year for the Benin City native. “HIM” follows the success of the smash hit ‘Laho’ and the amapiano-infused banger “Na So”.
