On the heels of the release of her debut album Nymph, out now on Because Music, experimental pop artist Shygirl announces her 2023 Nymph World Tour Pt. 1, sharing the North American leg of the tour. Beginning on March 15th in Vancouver, the 14-date run will include stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York City and Atlanta before wrapping up in Miami on April 15th. OnlyFans pre-sale begins Nov 4th, artist pre-sale begins November 7th and general on sale begins on November 10th all at 10am local time. The OnlyFans pre-sale follows Shygirl’s premiere of her uncensored video “Shlut” on the platform and Shygirl is the first artist to collaborate with OnlyFans in this way.

Before embarking on the North American leg of her World Tour, Shygirl will also make her homecoming to the UK to headline Printworks and Albert Hall in London and Manchester respectively this December. She will ring in 2023 with performances at Beyond the Valley and Field Day Festival in Australia, in addition to sets at Primavera Sound in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina later this month.

Shygirl’s critically acclaimed debut album Nymph reveals her inner self-reflection in experimental vocal tones and deconstructed dance melodies exhibiting a new level of intimacy and emotional depth in her songwriting. Nymph includes the tracks “Shlut,” which arrived with a Diana Kunst-directed video, “Nike,” which premiered with a COLORS performance, “Coochie (a bedtime story)“, “Come For Me” and “Firefly,” which arrived with visuals directed by Yasser Abubeker. Pitchfork praised the album as, “a definitive collection of songs that builds upon what already makes the artist remarkable.”

Nymph follows Shygirl’s collaborations with FKA twigs on the Caprisongs track “papi bones” and with Mura Masa on his tracks “bbycakes” and “hollaback bitch” along with the late 2021 offering “Cleo,” which arrived with a Trinity Ellis-directed music video as well as a live performance of the track from Abbey Road Studio as part of Studio 1’s 90th Anniversary programming. Also in 2021, Shygirl shared the slowthai collaboration “BDE” and the self-directed Burberry-styled short film, Shygirl BLU, a live realization of her universally-acclaimed ALIAS EP.

Shygirl also starred in Calvin Klein’s recent Fall campaign and in Burberry’s AW21 presentation, claimed a coveted spot in Forbes’ 30 Under 30, graced the cover of multiple prestigious magazines including Office Magazine and V Magazine, and teamed up with Mura Masa to remix the Lady Gaga and Blackpink track “Sour Candy” for the praised Dawn of Chromatica album.
