Aisle 5, a small but great venue located in one of the many stomping grounds in Atlanta, Little Five Points. With so much culture in the surrounding area Aisle 5 is the go to place if you want to see a good live show. Its small space forces the crowd to get close and personal with each other and is great for interaction with the performers. It’s the perfect venue no matter what your current mood is. But on a night when SOB x RBE comes to town, the mood will always be wild.
The energy was at an all time high, and one of the artists that contributed to the hype was an opener act by the name of Jaquebeatz. Jaquebeatz is a local Atlanta artist that has been buzzin in the city. A lot of talent comes from this creative artist. His style is very versatile and unique. Jaquebeatz produces his own music and is very lyrically inclined. His latest album, Aux, came out in 2017 and can be found on spotify. Be on the lookout for his upcoming project in the near future because Jaquebeatz is going places fast.
There was a lot of talent on stage this night, and keeping that streak strong was another Atlanta local Camo! This young artist brings enough energy to the stage that makes you want to start a mosh pit. He reminds me of a young Travis Scott the way he hypes the crowd up. Along with that, Camo! had some of the best lyrics of the night. Check out some of his music to witness his energy for yourself, you wont be dissapointed.
Next time you’re in the mood to get hyphy, and you need some of the West Coast hip hop in your ear, then throw on SOB x RBE. SOB is a group based out of Vallejo, Callifornia and is heavily influenced by the Bay Area rap culture. They had a song on the Black Panther Album called ‘Paramadic!’and also had an Album come out in 2019 called ‘Strictly Only Brothers’. SOB is the group that will make you go dumb in the crowd. Their performance was great and to top it all off, they brought out ShooterGang Kony. With his bouncy flow, ShooterGang Kony had the crowd really feeling his music. All in all I would say that it was a great night of music in Aisle 5.
