Summer Walker Announces Album Date

Debut Studio Album Over It Due Out October 4

Atlanta songstress Summer Walker (LVRN/Interscope Records) is not playing games as she gears up to release her highly anticipated debut studio album, Over It. The announcement follows the release of her hot new single, “Playing Games,” which currently sits at No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs Chart. Pre-Save the album HERE

The single has amassed over 21 million streams globally and vaulted her from No. 50 to No. 8 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart. The song’s official video was shot this week and is set to release soon. According to Refinery29 Magazine, “Her voice is in peak form, hitting those unique, thin sounds she’s known for and filling out in the chorus as she reaches for that “say my name” and blows it out with vocal tracking.”

LVRN’s leading lady has also added six more shows to The First And Last Tour, with rising Afro-Latina rapper Melii as the confirmed opener. The predominantly-US based Tour expands overseas, with the exciting launch now scheduled for London, UK on Oct. 20. The Tour will hit 38 major cities across North America, now including Los Angeles on November 8, Seattle on November 17, Cleveland on November, a second New York show on December 8, and Atlanta on December 22.
