LINKIN PARK TO RELEASE NEW LIMITED-EDITION LIVING THINGS VINYL

Just in time for the holidays, LINKIN PARK will unveil a special limited-edition new Vinyl Version of their acclaimed fifth full-length studio album, LIVING THINGS, on November 20, 2026 via Warner Records.
Pressed on Red Smoke Vinyl and limited to only 5,000 copies in the United States, this marks the first pressing of the record on color vinyl since its initial release in 2012. Throughout 2012, LINKIN PARK crafted LIVING THINGS in their hometown of Los Angeles, CA. Co-produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, it represented yet another natural evolution for the band. Once again, the musicians stretched their signature sound further into uncharted territory by incorporating ethereal electronic elements and widening their palette with cinematic ambition on the likes of the Gold-certified “LOST IN THE ECHO,” Platinum-certified “CASTLE OF GLASS,” and 3x-Platinum “BURN IT DOWN.” At the same time, the record reveled in a refined, yet raw intensity catalyzed by the abrasive sensory assault of “VICTIMIZED” and “LIES GREED MISERY,” among many others.

Upon arrival, LIVING THINGS notably bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200, standing out as the band’s third consecutive #1 debut. It eventually went Platinum, while tracks from the record have cumulatively generated billions of streams. To this day, it perennially remains a fan favorite ripe for rediscovery among the most ardent LP Underground faithful and newcomers alive.
Moreover, the new Vinyl offers the perfect gateway back into the world of this enigmatic, enthralling, and engaging LINKIN PARK landmark.

Keeping busy in 2026, the group dropped their live album Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo) last month. Listen HERE. Of course, Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo) doubles as the official soundtrack to LINKIN PARK: UNSHATTER, an intimate new documentary directed by band member Joe Hahn in theaters now. View the trailer HERE. Tickets are available HERE.
The film’s opening was met with widespread acclaim. NME hailed the documentary as “epic,” and Metal Hammer rated it “4.5-out-of-5 stars” and raved, “Linkin Park’s Unshatter is vulnerable, powerful and one of the best documentaries ever made by a metal band.” In an extensive feature, IndieWire attested, “But fans might be surprised at how reflective “Unshatter” is amid all the rocking out, and it was just as enriching for Hahn to uncover through film how his high school buddies dating back decades really feel about this whole journey.”
Following LINKIN PARK’s triumphant return to the global stage over the past two years, the cinematic event chronicles the band members’ journey through loss, resilience, and creative reinvention up to that point, culminating in the explosive From Zero era. LINKIN PARK’s Brazilian shows are central to the film. The two-night run at the 55,000-capacity venue kicked off November 15, the day of From Zero’s release, and featured transcendent performances spanning their entire career. Mixed by frequent collaborator Neal Avron and including songs not seen in the movie, Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo) offers up not only the first official live versions of LINKIN PARK’s recent songs, but the first recordings of the band’s beloved back catalog brought to life with Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain.
Recorded in November of 2024, the 20-song Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo) captures a pivotal moment in the band’s history as they ring in the release of their first album since reforming — the universally acclaimed From Zero — and embark on what would become their biggest tour ever. Its release followed a thrilling appearance on America’s Got Talent, joining teen Thai rock phenom (and noted LINKIN PARK fan) Nene Royal for a performance of “The Emptiness Machine” that brought the house down and led to her becoming the show’s winner.
Fans were previously treated to a handful of videos from the album, including for Meteora era hits “Somewhere I Belong” and “Faint” [2003], Minutes to Midnight’s “What I’ve Done” [2007], and a pair of From Zero songs: “Heavy is the Crown” and, a live debut, “Two Faced.” From Zero would go on to score two GRAMMY® nods (Best Rock Album, and Best Rock Performance for their comeback smash “The Emptiness Machine”) and cement LINKIN PARK’s status as the one-and-only rock band to surpass 2 billion annual streams in 2024.
LINKIN PARK: UNSHATTER premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 24, at The Grove. Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, who appears in the film, moderated a post-screening Q&A with the band. Blending rare archival footage, candid behind-the-scenes moments, intimate studio sessions, and electrifying live performances, the documentary offers an unprecedented inside look at the band’s creative process and enduring friendship as they come together to prepare for a massive new chapter.
“UNSHATTER follows a very particular moment in LINKIN PARK’s history and documents a path through loss, uncertainty, friendship, and reinvention,” shares Joe Hahn. “I hope longtime fans see parts of our journey they’ve never seen before, and I hope people who are just discovering our music come away with a better understanding of how we got here. But even beyond LINKIN PARK, I hope people connect with it as a story about relationships, resilience, and what it really takes to move forward when you don’t have all the answers.”
