twentythree, New Music, Music, Entertainment News,

Iranian-born, Toronto-based artist and producer twentythree has just announced that his debut mixtape, 6ix Popwill be released on June 26th. Best known for his affiliation with DMV rap producer supergroup Too Many Strikers and production credits for Destroy LonelyOsamaSonBabyface RayDragnutz, and more, the forthcoming 6ix Pop will land as twentythree‘s first complete body of work, wrangling the sounds of internet-era jerk rap production, irresistibly catchy hooks, and a distinct sense of sonic anemoia into a project that conjures visions of the future of music. This release arrives following a long run of singles, including the viral “Queen Street” (31M+ Streams), “6ix God”“Bite Me” (3.7M+ Streams), and “Trust Nobody” (4.1M+ Streams), as well as a recent Drake co-sign, a performance alongside Fakemink at his Toronto show, and a sold-out show at the legendary Mod Club in Toronto.
