Winners revealed at the star-studded ceremony for the 2025 VIRGIN ATLANTIC ATTITUDE AWARDS, POWERED BY JAGUAR
Attitude magazine – the world’s biggest LGBTQ+ media brand – hosted the fourteenth-annual Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, powered by Jaguar, at London’s iconic Roundhouse.
Hosted by Mika and Jamie Laing, the glittering ceremony brought together stars from music, television, film and activism for an unforgettable celebration of LGBTQ+ visibility, allyship and achievement. Guests included Dannii Minogue, Scissors Sisters, Elizabeth Hurley, Tiara Skye, Edward Enninful OBE, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Tovey, Gok Wan, Tom Allen, Charithra Chandran, Ellis Howard, Luke Evans, Dame Kelly Holmes, Denise Welch, Kimberley Walsh, Paris Lees, Mawaan Rizwan, Bimini, alongside members of the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S7, What It Feels Like For A Girl and more.
Entertainment highlights included a performance of ‘Your Light Will Shine’ – a new song written in memory of The Vivienne, performed by Bimini, Tia Kofi, Bentley Robles, Eden Hunter and Janethan – and a show-closing set by Scissor Sisters, who performed hits including Take Your Mama, Let’s Have a Kiki, and Filthy/Gorgeous. Calum Scott performed his hit duet with Whitney Houston, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’, while Pam Ann opened the show with a comedy skit.
Among the night’s top honours, Russell Tovey was named Man of the Year, supported by Virgin Atlantic, presented by Russell T Davies; Elizabeth Hurley received the Honorary Gay Award, supported by Jaguar, presented by Anna Richardson; and Dannii Minogue was celebrated as this year’s Ally Award recipient, presented by Josh Cavallo.
The Inspiration Award was presented to the Williams family in honour of the late The Vivienne, recognising the creation of The House of The Vivienne and their campaigning around addiction awareness. The Vivienne herself received the same honour in 2022. Other notable winners included Gok Wan (Icon Award), Campbell Addy (Creator’s Award), Luke Evans (Book Award), Tom Allen (Comedy Award), Tiara Skye (Drag Award), and Paris Lees and the cast of What It Feels Like for a Girl (TV Award).
