2 CHAINZ & STATIK SELEKTAH RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE FEATURING YOUNG NUDY AND CASH COBAIN “REIGN”
GRAMMY Award-winning rap mogul and entrepreneur, 2 Chainz, shares the Statik Selektah assisted single “Reign” out now. The track brings together three distinct voices over a backdrop built around 21st Century’s classic “Remember the Rain”, allowing for a nostalgic feel due to the instantly recognizable loop. “Reign” also creates an unexpected meeting point between generations of hip hop – the legendary Statik Selektah on production and 2 Chainz whose veteran presence provides the connective tissue to the single. Coupled with Cash Cobain on the hook who brings his signature New York sound and Young Nudy who adds another layer with his unmistakable laid back delivery.
“Reign” is the second single from 2 Chainz and Statik Selektah following “Pops” which debuted in April 2026 on the heels of Chainz’s memoir The Voice In My Head Is God. The memoir features excerpts about lessons learned from his late father with an overall message that loved ones still show up in many ways – even detailing spiritual experiences. The memoir has since landed at No. 1 on The New York Times Nonfiction Best Seller list.
