Maar de succesvolle hippie is beter bekend als Ima Robot en vooral als frontman van Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros waarmee hij o.a. de wereldhit ‘Home’ scoorde. Alex is een creatieve ziel op veel fronten. En op ‘t gebied van muziek komt hij later dit jaar met maar liefst 2 nieuwe albums. De single Gold is een van de focus tracks in aanloop naar het dubbelalbum en hiermee laat hij wéér een nieuw geluid laat horen.
