ALEX SAMPSON RELEASES LIVE VERSION OF “PRETTY BABY”

FIRST HEADLINE TOUR CURRENTLY UNDERWAY

TICKETS HERE

Alex Sampson releases “Pretty Baby (Live From Toronto)”, a rendition of his dreamy -and now viral- 2024 single, via Warner Records. The track arrives alongside a visualizer capturing the electric energy of his performance in Toronto.

“Pretty Baby,” originally released in June of 2024, is taking on a new life following a viral fan moment on tour that has quickly become a defining part of the live show. After an unexpected crowd interaction sent Alex into laughter mid-performance, clips spread rapidly across social media, transforming the track into a fan-favorite anthem and introducing it to millions of new listeners. In the past 2 weeks alone, the song surged 780% in the U.S. and 1,072% internationally. All while driving more than 50 million combined views across TikTok and Instagram. The song has also landed in the Top 10 of the Spotify Viral USA chart.

The original track features hummable piano and swooning vocals all while showcasing Alex’s dynamic range and slick croon. His voice practically floats on the lovestruck refrain as he pleads, “Pretty baby, is it crazy? Think I’ve known for a while. Kiss me now. Drive me wild.” Listen to the original version of “Pretty Baby” HERE.

Last month, Alex released “Not Even Gone”, a song that captures the ache of anticipatory loss and the feeling of missing someone while they’re still right there.

“Not Even Gone” isn’t just about heartbreak after the fact; it lives in the moment before everything changes. With Alex’s signature emotional honesty at the center, the track explores the quiet dread and tenderness of holding someone close while sensing time slipping away. A song for anyone who’s ever tried to memorize a moment because they knew it wouldn’t last.

The song arrives as Alex continues building momentum into a milestone year. Last month, he kicked off his first headline tour across the U.S. and Canada, following a run of dates opening for Jamie Miller across North America and Europe. The release continues the chapter that began with his sophomore EP Hopeless Romantic, and Alex is set to release his next project this summer via Warner Records.
