Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter releases emails i can’t send fwd:, an extended version of her 2022 studio record emails i can’t send. The album is out everywhere now via Polydor Records.
Consisting of four previously unreleased songs, emails i can’t send fwd: builds upon Sabrina’s must raw and vulnerable songwriting yet. ‘opposite’ follows Sabrina reckoning with complex emotions after seeing her ex-lover’s new partner, while ‘Things I Wish You Said’ displays the ruminating thoughts of what could have been done differently in an old relationship and coming to terms that it’s over. ‘Lonesome’ is an acoustic ballad tinged with Western elements and clever lyricism, while the upbeat, catchy hook of ‘Feather’ adds some lightheartedness.
