Apple TV+ Honors the Premiere of “Land of Women,” Starring and Executive Produced by Award-Winning Actress Eva Longoria, Ahead of its Debut on June 26

Apple TV+ recently held a celebration for the premiere of its forthcoming dramedy, “Land of Women.” The six-episode series, which stars and is executive produced by the award-winning actress Eva Longoria, is set to make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes releasing on Wednesday, June 26, followed by a new episode every subsequent Wednesday until July 24.

The red carpet premiere of “Land of Women” was attended by a host of notable personalities, including the series star and executive producer Eva Longoria, cast members Victoria Bazúa and Santiago Cabrera, co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer Ramón Campos, co-creator and writer Gema R. Neira, executive producers Ben Spector and Sandra Condito, and director Ken Biller.

“Land of Women” features Longoria in the role of Gala, a prosperous New Yorker whose life takes a dramatic turn when her husband fails to repay a debt to the wrong people. With dangerous criminals on the hunt for her family and her now missing husband, Gala is compelled to leave the city with her aging mother Julia (Carmen Maura) and teenage daughter Kate (Bazúa) to her mother’s hometown in northern Spain—a place Julia had fled 50 years ago—to start afresh and hope their identities remain concealed. However, rumors in the quaint wine town spread quickly, revealing their deepest family secrets and truths.

Originating from Apple Studios, “Land of Women” is the creation of Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, and Paula Fernández and is directed by Iris Award winner Carlos Sedes. The series is produced by Bambú Producciones and executive produced by showrunner Campos, Neira, Sedes, Iris Award winner Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Ben Spector, Sandra Condito, and Longoria through her media company HYPHENATE MEDIA GROUP, which she co-founded in 2023 with her business partner Cris Abrego.
