ARI HICKS’ IS IN THE MIDST OF EGO DEATH AND SHARES NEW SINGLE “TILT”
Emerging alt-pop artist Ari Hicks, is in the midst of a transformation and going through her Ego Death – which marks the beginning of the end. “Innocent,” released earlier this year,” was the initial stage of putting the pieces together that not everything may be as it seems. Now she comes back with spite in hard hitting and raging new single “TILT.” The single is accompanied by the dizzying Alice in Borderland themed video directed by Sterling Larose.
In her own words, Ari Explains, “Ego Death marks the beginning of the end—an unraveling that hits home for anyone who’s ever wrestled with their inner truths. It all started with “Innocent”, a song that put self-deception in the spotlight, shining a light on the heavy burdens we often carry without even realizing it. That clarity is freeing, but it doesn’t come without its own storm. ‘T’ILT is the eruption of that storm—the raw emotion, the frustration, the rage that surfaces when you finally see things for what they are. It’s like realizing you’ve been on a wild roller coaster with no way to stop, and now you’re forced to confront the obstacles you’ve been avoiding. That kind of mental chaos can shake you to your core, make everything feel out of place. Tilt is here for that. It’s a reminder that sometimes the only way forward is to face it all, head on.”

Ari has been warming up her stunning live show this summer with appearances at CMW, Lavender Wild and most recently an opening spot for Jazmin Bean. Now, she’s gearing up to hit the road this November to support the T-dot singer Shawn Desman on a handful of dates including a sold out show at History in Toronto on November 21.
