ARÓN PIPER’S SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM IS OUT NOW
Capitol Records released ARÓN PIPER, the self-titled debut album from the Spanish-German singer- songwriter, who is also known for his acting roles in Netflix’s “Elite,” “EL SILENCIO” and “El Correo.” Brimming with catchy hooks, soft, sensual guitars and cheeky fun, the album is a perfect encapsulation of Arón’s most authentic and intimate collection of songs to date. He recorded the album in Madrid, Mexico City and Los Angeles and it was produced by Latin GRAMMY® Award winner Manuel Lara (Kali Uchis, Rauw Alejandro, Sebastian Yatra, Bad Bunny). With Arón co-writing each of the album’s 13 tracks, the songs are marked by a vibrant, autobiographical tone. The album includes 10 brand new songs plus the hits “Pirata Espacial,” “Invisibilidad“ and “Especial”.
Arón unveiled the official video for his summery new single, “Flores,” today. Directed by Bandiz (Dellafuente, Omar Apollo), the video juxtaposes moody footage of Arón, bearing flowers and awaiting the arrival of his date, with his chill yet heartfelt performance of the song in a beautiful meadow.
“It’s been three years since I started this journey with ‘Invisibilidad,’” says Arón Piper. “I’m so thankful for all the people involved for helping me in the creation of this project. I’m also grateful for the fans, family and friends who have been there for me throughout the process!”
Arón will be taking over clubs across Spain this summer to celebrate the album’s release. Earlier this year, he made his Lollapalooza debut in Chile and Argentina. He stars alongside Miguel Harrán in the forthcoming film La Tregua, directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas (Extinction), set to be released in October of this year. He will also be featured in the upcoming Marc Webb film Daydrinker, alongside Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp.
Arón was born in Berlin, Germany and grew up in Spain, where he began acting and making music at age 11. He played a troubled teen in the 2013 film 15 Years and One Day and also collaborated on “Rap 15 años y un dia,” which was nominated for Best Original Song at the Goya Awards – one of seven nominations for the film. Arón has been named the new face of YSL Beauty in Spain, as well as an Ambassador for Tiffany & Co.
