BANDA EL RECODO SING TO OUR “MÉXICO MÁGICO”

If BANDA EL RECODO is proud of anything, it is for taking our music and culture to every corner of the world. Taking roots and artistic wealth is a banner they have maintained throughout 85 years, leading them to be the best-known group in all continents.

That same pride is laid-out in the interpretation of the song “México Mágico”, a hymn to our land created by talented Nacho Cano, who has developed a musical based on one of the most important and controversial characters of our history: La Malinche.

“Malinche the Musical” is a play created entirely by Nacho Cano, who influenced BANDA EL RECODO the ideal exponent to create a different version from the one that is heard night after night at the Teatro Ifema Madrid.

“México Mágico” has all the theatrical ingredients, as well as the festive and cheerful style that BANDA EL RECODO DE CRUZ LIZÁRRAGA provided to this new version, which they had the opportunity to perform live together with the rest of the cast last January  13th and 14th, invited by Nacho Cano.

The public in Madrid that filled the seats of every one of the four shows, enjoyed and danced to the rhythm of BANDA EL RECODO. Each instrument resounded in the venue, raising goosebumps in the audience and transmitting through each note the beauty of our Mexico.

“México Mágico,” which is already available on all digital platforms, is the preamble to great surprises that are coming with BANDA EL RECODO, which will shortly present the first single from their completely new production, which promises to be spectacular just as their previous album ‘ESTA VIDA ES MUY BONITA’ which gave them a Latin GRAMMY nomination and recently a Premio Lo Nuestro Award nomination 2023.
