Since making his QC debut with the 1 Foot In, 1 Foot Out mixtape—recorded while finishing a five-year sentence in a halfway house—the Memphis native has continued to build momentum with the release of Don’t Let Up, his joint tape Evil Twins with Stupid Duke, and Federal Flashbacks earlier this year.
Facing the harsh reality of two potential life sentences, Kenny turned to writing as a lifeline, convinced it would be his ticket to a second chance. He used his time behind bars to write hundreds of songs and recorded an entire project on his phone while still incarcerated, showcasing the resilience, discipline, and hunger that continue to define his rise.
