Chart-topping Memphis rapper Big Scarr has announced his first ever headline tour, the Big Grim Reaper Tour.  The US run kicks off November 7th in Tampa, FL, with highlights including a show at Los Angeles’s The Echo on November 13th and Atlanta, GA’s The Loft on November 16th.  Local ticket sales begin today (Friday, September 23); for more details please visit https://www.bigscarrmusic.com. Big Scarr is also set to play Rolling Loud NY this Sunday, September 25th.

After cementing his mark on the industry with his recent induction into the XXL Freshman Class of 2022, Scarr has continued to drop a steady stream of singles, highlighted by last month’s “First Time In Vegas,” which is continuing to rake in over 1 million streams weekly. Further releases include “Try Being Me” and “Havin Fun.”

Earning his first RIAA Gold certification with “SoIcyBoyz 2 (Feat. Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano & Tay Keith)” was just the beginning for Big Scarr, who now boasts over 780 million global streams, over 300 million official video views. 2021 saw Big Scarr start making his mark on the hip-hop scene, a remarkable year which found him ascending to #1 on Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 Chart and featured in Amazon’s influential Artist Spotlight. The release of debut mixtape Big Grim Reaper immediately made waves with its fiery array of hits. The project hit #1 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart, #3 on Apple Music’s Hip Hop Chart and #4 on the All Genre chart, with a #25 peak on the overall Billboard Top 200. The deluxe Big Grim Reaper: The Return mixtape features appearances from Gucci Mane, Offset and more, with more music from the rising rapper due soon.

Big Scarr may carry the marks of life’s trials and tribulations on his face and body, but he has emerged from those tragedies in triumph. The Memphis rapper has generated serious heat since he began rapping with encouragement from a day-one friend. A fiery freestyle powered his first-ever single, “Make A Play,” to what is now over 11M YouTube views to date. Among those blown away by the track were the one and only Gucci Mane, who quickly signed Big Scarr to his increasingly powerful 1017 roster.

Maintaining this momentum, Big Scarr teamed up with Pooh Shiesty and their 1017 labelmate Foogiano for “SoIcyBoyz,” featured on 2020’s blockbuster compilation, GUCCI MANE PRESENTS: SO ICY SUMMER. Critical acclaim from such high-profile media outlets as ComplexUPROXX, and more followed, as did two further installments in the “SoIcyBoyz” series, including the now RIAA Gold certified “SoIcyBoyz 2.” The worldwide success of the “SoIcyBoyz” saga set the stage for more to come, including the hard-edged tales found on BIG GRIM REAPER. By embracing his scars, Big Scarr gives hip-hop one of its realest stories out there.
